Day 19> Adorn your head

1.) I had about 2 minutes before college and this is the only decent picture

2.) My internet connection is dire so I haven't been able to use Picnik to edit my photos just windows photo viewer :( Hence the rubbish quality and editing.

3.) Do you think that accessories such as necklaces and hairbands come under the category of clothes? I want to know for my clothes fast! :P

Love,

Say :)

Day 18> Statement Jewellery

Now, I know that Kayla's examples were all big, clunky necklaces, but I figured that this was a piece of statement jewellery too. A statement of who I am and what I believe. A way for people to see that I'm a Christian and hold me accountable.

I only had about 6 and a half minutes to take these pictures as college has started once more :( So I'm afraid you are stuck with the tree again. The reason I take pictures next to the tree is because I can focus my camera on the tree on self-timer and be in focus when I stand by it :P One day I'll learn how to focus it properly!

Bye-bye,

Say :)

Day 16/17> Repair and wear

In this shoot, not only did the tree and the whole "one foot against the trunk" look become my best friends, but I attempted to do some deep "modelling" faces. Hmm. I think I know why I haven't been scouted just yet.

Today I kinda cheated, wearing something that I have already remodelled instead of fixing something new. I found the dress in the Sainsburys clothes sale for £6 (I think) and Oliver hated it with a passion disliked it greatly.

Excuse the hideousity of my face and hair in this picture, it was taken first thing in the morning when I was barely awake and hadn't had time to shower yet :( To sort it out, I removed the frilly bottom bit and added a lace trim to give it a bit more length. I like the end result. Oliver still hates it.

Bye-bye now,

Say :)

Day 15> Men's clothes

('scuse the awkward feet!)

On Saturday when I was nannying I ended up taking the little girl I look after round Basingstoke shopping centre and I found this shirt for Oliver in the gap sale for £10. It was an extra small and looked so beautiful on him (see below) and I decided to use it for my menswear item. I added a belt to give me more definition and wore my new boots I found in the deichmann sale (the last boots I'll buy until 2013!!). Somehow we managed to grab some sunny photos, in the morning it was chucking it down!

See you later,

Say :)

Day 13> Copycat

I took this as my inspiration:

And came up with this:

And it rained. Again. So I had to drag Oliver outside to take my pictures with his camera. Ah well, I likef the outfit in the end, even if the white shirt is 2 sizes to big- I found it in the H&M sale for £5 which is always good.

And this brings me onto the most important thing for me to say....

For 2012 I am giving up buying clothes.

There, I said it. Now I have to actually do it. It made me feel better when I saw that Meredith from Yours, Mine and Ours was giving up sugar, I'd much rather give up buying clothes than eating unhealthy foods like chocolate and ice cream! So that is my big New Years resolution.

How long do you think it will last? :P
