Day 1> remix something

So for my remix item, I chose a thin blue striped shirt (new look) And today I paired it with grey skinny jeans (primark), a white strap top (asda) and a floral scarf as a belt (store twenty one).

Just a heads up :)

This is just a quick post to let you guys know what's happening for the next three weeks: I am taking part in Freckles in April's 21 day challenge. So yeah, I am many months late and I know I should probably just wait and take part in the winter challenge she is hosting next, but I was really excited to do the whole three week thing now. And plus, I like knowing what each week will entail :P I'm a bit of a control freak like that.

So I will momentarily become a daily fashion blogger which is kind of scary and kind of exciting and most of you will probably find it boring, but amongst all the random outfits I will try to post some photos of my Christmas holidays and other fun events :)

Today, for example, Oliver and I had half a date night. We went to the cinema then ended up not being able to eat out because of transportation issues (namely, my parents couldn't give us a lift back any later than after the film. I wont review the film (New Years Eve) because it is so bleeding similar to Valentines day (which I rather enjoyed) that it is self explanatory and a bit clichéd. It was fun with the usual slightly depressing storylines but nothing which really grabbed me. We still had a good time though :)

Drinks were such a rip off! Over two pounds for a normal bottle of lilt. So outraged I thought I'd point it out :P

A 5000 word dissertation... for fun!

Tonight was the Extended Project "Presentation ceremony" where I received a bound (And expensive! we had to pay £17.50!) copy of the dissertation I wrote in September for no credit. I know right, crazy? As I worked on it and pretended to work on it and got distracted whilst trying to work on it I kept on questioning why I was doing and EP. But that was the point. I had to motivate myself to write a dissertation of my choice and I found that it could be fun and that if I tried I could actually fill that many words (almost, I got to just over 4000). I was happy with the end result. I was not so happy with the presentation ceremony. The VIP lady who came to shake our hands did the longest, most boring talk about nothing. But still, I got it.

Oh and I suppose I will admit, just this once, that my full name is actually Sarah!

George and his baby xD

Today is our good friend George's 18th birthday! You may recognise him as the lead guitarist in The Band, and in case you didn't make the link, he is also Lena's boyfriend :) We went to this really nice (and really expensive!) Chinese buffet place for his birthday meal and after he blew out the candles on his guitar cake, he was given a 20 year old Gibson Les Paul from his grandparents. It was a complete surprise and he was so happy :) Sorry Lena, he's got a new girl now ;P

Oh and I got an eye-patch in my cracker :D Not quite a guitar, but almost as good :)
