I heard The Band's original song 'High Heels' for the first time and I was really impressed :) Even though it had been a bit over-hyped, it was really good :) My favourite bit was the breakdown in the middle, but you won't understand because you haven't heard it. If ever they get round to recording it, I'll put it on here so you guys can hear it to!

Reintroducing The Band :)
Almost every weekend I support Oliver and my friends' band (I introduced them here, before I really knew anything about blogging) at various pubs around the country and this weekend was no different. The pub had a really awesome music 'barn' with music posters strewn over every wall and a drum kit attached to the rafters :)

It doesn't feel like two weeks 'til Christmas :/
Normally by the 10th December we have put up a tree, received and sent a gazillion cards, bought almost all our presents and planned Christmas day. This year: zilch. It doesn't feel like Winter. Why? Because it is so sunny! Oliver and I went on a train trip and the weather was absolutely gorgeous; clear blue sky, golden sun, the lot. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and it means that I don't get all miserable and depressed, but it just doesn't feel like Christmas. It feels like September or maybe October, as if Christmas (and exams!) are a long way off. I am so unprepared.
But what is Christmas at the end of the day? Snow and decorations are just things we attribute to the season. Maybe we should take this year to focus on what really matters: the birth of Jesus.
Merry Christmas,
Say
Ps. I am always disappointed because the camera on the front of my phone is always so much worse than on the main camera :(

I have a 20 year old sister and it scares me.
My big sister, Annie, turns twenty today. You might remember her from this post. Well, she's all better now :) It's weird because when you are a kid you assume that you will be "grown up" and "mature" by the time you turn twenty, but yet it doesn't really work like that; I'm sure Annie feels exactly as she did yesterday. Anyway, rant over, a very happy birthday to my amazing sister!!
We all went to visit her which was pretty cool because her little town/city thing was all dressed up for Christmas, so for the first time this warm, unseasonably sunny winter, it actually felt like December!
So, all that's left to say is: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!! We love you :)
Over and out,

It was really cool, too, because my mother got me a gorgeous necklace from the Christmas market as my confirmation present :) Thanks mum!
We really are related, by the way, even though we don't look anything like each other!

Another attempt at self-timer...
As I have very few pictures with me in from the work meal, I thought I would be really vain and take some pictures of what I wore! I used my parents camera again, so the quality isn't amazing. Oliver also pointed out that the background isn't very nice but I'm afraid that's just my house!
I found the dress in the charity shop, the boots (though you can't really see them!) are from New Look, as is the necklace, which I found in the sale for £2- I'm so cheap!
Sorry I haven't got any better with the camera,
Say :)

Work Party!
It's been a while since the last post. I'm sorry, I didn't have any picture to go with what I wanted to say and I didn't think you would want to read just waffle. For example, since I last posted:
-I have applied to university
And that is kind of a big thing, but I didn't have any pictures to go with it, so I just didn't blog. I don't want to post for the sake of posting.
Anyway... tonight it was the work Christmas party which was really cool because I've never had one of those before. We went out for a meal and it was a really good evening, despite the fact that I did slightly worry that I would be kicked out of Wetherspoons for being under 18 (it has happened before). Enjoy.
So there you have it, one big, happy family :) Thanks guys!
Say :)
